What could have apparently brought this Pakistani bureaucrat some joy in terms of money, ended up bringing only shame. The Pakistani delegate was caught stealing a wallet at a high-level delegation meeting.
A Grade 20 officer stole the wallet of a member of the Kuwaiti delegation which was in the country to discuss investment plans over the years, according to a report by Dawn.
The humiliating act was caught on CCTV camera at the Finance Ministry in Pakistan

The act in no time went viral on Reddit and Twitter.
The officer, identified by Samaa TV as Joint Investment and Facilitation Secretary Zarar Haider Khan was seen lifting the wallet lying on the table and discreetly putting it in his pocket. Apparently, it wasn’t discreet enough for the camera.
The matter came to light when the Kuwaiti official filed a complaint and the incident was looked into.
“An internal inquiry was in progress against the bureaucrat and further action would be taken keeping in view its recommendations,” a Dawn report added.
